The founder of First City Monument Bank (FCMB), Otunba Subomi Balogun was laid to rest on Saturday in his hometown, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. The town swelled with well-wishers and prominent figures who came to pay their respects to the 89-year-old former Olori Omo Oba of Ijebuland. The commemorative events began with a funeral service at the Cathedral Church of Our Saviour in Ijebu Ode at 10 am, leading to a private burial attended only by family members.
