Lily Santiago and Wilson Bethel Join Eric Bana in Yosemite Murder Series Untamed at Netf

Netflix‘s upcoming limited series “Untamed” has added Lily Santiago and Wilson Bethel to its cast as series regulars.
Per the official logline, the mystery-thriller stars Eric Bana as Kyle Turner, “a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. The investigation of a brutal death sends Turner on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past.” Sam Neill and Rosemarie Dewitt also star.
Santiago will play Naya Vasquez. Described as “an ambitious young, former Los Angeles cop, Vasquez is the newest addition to Yosemite’s ranger squad. She came to the park to find a new life with her 4-year-old son, Gael. Despite being a little green when it comes to a landscape like Yosemite, her strong will, astute investigative skills and big-city homicide techniques become useful tools in a murder that is distinctly human.”

Bethel will play Shane Maguire, a former army ranger who “now uses his skills as the park’s Wildlife Management Officer. Maguire’s a loner, preferring to live by himself in the wilderness where it’s easier to follow his own rules.”

Santiago is best known for NBC’s “La Brea,” in which she starred as Veronica Castillo. She recently appeared opposite Rachel McAdams in “Mary Jane” on Broadway.
Bethel starred as Mark Callan in CBS and later OWN’s “All Rise” from 2019 to 2023, and in 2018 played Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter in Netflix’s “Daredevil.” He will reprise the role in Disney+’s upcoming “Daredevil: Born Again.” Bethel’s other credits include ABC’s “How to Get Away with Murder,” the CW’s “Hart of Dixie” and CBS’ “The Young and the Restless.”
“Untamed” hails from showrunners and father-daughter duo Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith. Both serve as executive producers alongside Bana; John Wells and Erin Jontow for John Wells Productions; Todd Black and Tony Shaw for Escape Artists Entertainment; Steve Lee Jones for Bee Holder Productions; and Cliff Roberts for Syndicate Entertainment. Warner Bros. Television, where John Wells Productions is under an overall deal, is the studio.
